Catmindeye: Plodt - Charting Tweets with Tags and Ranks

cat · 1 year agoIn a follow-up, this project by Alex Bisceglie is quite interesting. It searches tweets for instances of the words 'truth' and 'liar' in conjunction with Obama and McCain's names. Although certainly a much different idea that the Plodt debate charting, it does bring up an interesting point - social syntax (ie **) does not need to be present for this work. I would be interested to see this become a tool for individual users to track specific words or word combinations for themselves or those they follow. Now that would be really cool.
